This stuff has been great for me. The cream itself gives a smooth shave (hint: no need to apply it thick; thin layer works fine), I get way fewer nicks than, say, Barbasol - in fact, haven't gotten any nicks since I started using it, and the stuff seems to leave my skin feeling slightly "tight" or "closed" (don't quite know hot to describe it, but point is, I don't neede after shave. Kind of like it has its own balm.
Plus, I travel a lot. The small travel tube size is perfect to pack.

I have been using this shaving cream for about a year now. This is only stuff that keeps me from bleeding profusely on my neck. I have tried every razor and every shave cream/gel on the market but this, paired with a good razor, is the only one that works for my ridiculously thin and sensitive neck skin.

A great alternative to shave creams in cans. I transfer a small amount to an ointment jar for use when I travel.

I tried the lab series cream, and found it doesn't provide enough skin protection from the blade. Yes it "numbs' the skin a bit, which does help, but even still it lets you "feel" the blade on your face;which is something I don't want to feel. Other creams I use like bigelow and art of shaving protect your skin and you don't even feel the blade on your face.
